About the Event
The June Small Byte discussion will focus on "What is NLIT?" What is this thing you call NLIT Summit? We're glad you asked! The NLIT Summit started in April, 2000 as the Tri-Lab Summit with Sandia, Los Alamos, and Lawrence Livermore meeting in Albuquerque to share knowledge about enterprise information technology at their labs. With the exception of the years 2000, 2020 and 2021, labs and plants across the complex have gathered once a year to share knowledge and network. Content for the Summit is driven by attendee presentations and exhibitor showcases and presentations. Topics are driven by technology changes and common initiatives being addressed across the complex. Historically these have included PKI, mobility, cloud, hybrid/virtual, application development, ITSM best practices, data governance, enterprise applications, cyber security, compliance, business intelligence, data analytics and much more. Some of the more highly attended sessions included a panel about women in technology and being an IT manager. The June 23, 2022 NLIT Small Byte will provide more information about the NLIT Summit 2022, scheduled for October 16-19, 2022 in Albuquerque, NM. We’ll also discuss abstract submission and answer any questions you have about presenting and attending the NLIT Summit 2022.
